Norway Vets play GB Seniors LTC at West Worthing

It was great to welcome 50 guests from the GB Seniors LTC and Norway Veterans for their annual match, which this year took place on the grass courts at West Worthing Club between 2nd and 4th June 2022.

Players and spectators were (mostly) bathed in glorious sunshine throughout the weekend which made the event all the more enjoyable and memorable, given it’s two year postponement.

Following a practice session on Thursday afternoon, there was some intensive use of the grass courts on Friday and Saturday for the all important matches which were followed by a friendly but competitive session on the croquet lawns on Saturday evening. Our guests enjoyed a range of meals with us courtesy of Love & Rocket Food. The atmosphere throughout was most convivial.

The Seniors LTC of GB have a packed fixture list which features matches against USA Indian Wells, AELTC, Queens Club and Hurlingham, to name a few. Their next fixture is in Chattanooga!
