Indoor Tennis Court Block Booking Information (valid from October 2019 – September 2020)
One of the perks of a Racquets Membership is the ability to book indoor tennis courts for a full season (or longer) in order to guarantee the same time slot on court every week for you and your playing partners. This facility is only available to members.
IF you are interested in a regular indoor court booking, please read the information below and enquire at the Club Reception about available weekly slots.
Block Booking Period
The standard block booking period will be from the beginning of October to the end of March with a two week break over Christmas and New Year.
Priority will be given to groups who book for the whole period. Groups may extend their booking at either end of the period and include the 2 weeks over the Christmas break, if they wish. Other block booking periods outside the standard block booking period will be considered.
Please complete a Block Booking Form provided below and return to the Club Reception.
Club members who wish to retain the same time slot as last year must confirm their intention to do so by 15 August 2019. Completed forms and full payment must be received by 31 August 2019 to secure the slot.
Block Bookings will open to all members on 1 September 2019. Where more than one group of members are requesting the same time slot, the club will seek to allocate slots fairly.
Indoor Court Fees
Fees remain unchanged from 2018/2019 at £8 per hour for members (off peak) and £14 per hour for members (peak).
Payment may be made at the Club Reception (in person or by telephone) by credit/debit card, membership card, cash or a cheque made payable to “West Worthing Club ClC”. Block booking slots can only be secured once full payment has been received.
If the club needs to cancel a booked session to carry out urgent maintenance, your group will be credited with an additional session at the end of your booking period.
If a group is unable to play on any given week, we regret that we are unable to provide a refund or extend the booking period.
If a member’s group substitutes one or more of their group with a non-member, usual visitor rules will apply and the appropriate visitor fee must be paid.
