NON-RACQUET SPORTS – COVID-19 Update  – 26 September 2020

In addition to our general guidelines on our main Covid-19 webpage, please follow the guidelines below when visiting the Club to play a non-racquet sport:

Please follow these guidelines for Table Tennis

  • Play will be in the Pettigrew Room only 
  • Two players per booking
  • No spectators
  • Both players must be named on the booking
  • Max 7 day advance booking
  • No turning up to play without a prior booking.  
  • Opening times 10am – 9PM
  • Maximum one 60 min booking slot per member per day
  • Booking start times are preset and include a 30 min buffer between bookings for cleaning
  • Players to clean table immediately after playing
  • Cleaning products are provided
  • Windows and door must be left open at all times
  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking time 
  • Please vacate the room and Clubhouse promptly at the end of your booking 

VIEW TABLE TENNIS ENGLAND GUIDANCE

Please follow these guidelines for Snooker

  • 1 snooker table only to comply with EPSB Guidance
  • Max two players per booking
  • No spectators
  • Each player must be named on the booking
  • Max 7 day advance booking
  • No turning up to play without a prior booking.  
  • Opening times 10am – 9pm
  • Maximum one 90 min booking slot per member per day.
  • Players to clean rests, triangle, balls & table surround immediately after play
  • Cleaning products are provided
  • Windows must be left open at all times
  • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking time 
  • Please vacate the room and the Clubhouse promptly at the end of your booking

 

VIEW EPSB GUIDANCE

Please follow these guidelines for Croquet

  • Croquet may be booked online by members, with up to four players per lawn.
  • (UPDATED) Croquet hosted sessions restart in October with altered format and groups sizes to ensure compliance with Government and Croquet Association guidance
  • Please book online in advance and enter the names of everyone who will be playing. If you are unable to book online, please contact Andrew Stewart for help or email info@wwc.org.uk and your message will be forwarded.

Please follow these guidelines for Petanque

  • Petanque must be played on alternate pistes as a game of singles or doubles only.
  • Games should be booked in advance via Bob Ainsworth, who has offered to coordinate attendance so as to maintain social distancing.  If you don’t have his email address, please email info@wwc.org.uk and your message will be forwarded.

Striders Running Club

Members are welcome to run from the Club car park but access to the changing rooms is limited to the lavatory only.

Bridge is unable to return at present due to difficulties with social distancing.

We will keep all arrangements under close scrutiny and would ask you for your support in adhering to these guidelines and ensuring social distancing is maintained.
