Summer Mini Tennis and Matchplay Events Schedules Published
The club will be running 27 Open Mini Tennis Events and 16 Open Matchplay Events this Summer.

Worthing College Tennis Academy Team in National Finals 19th - 20th March
The Academy Team are competing in the National Finals of the AEGON Senior Schools Championships.
The team of Daniel Bartlett, Dean Cronk, Jacques-Luc Wilson and Joe Boswell competed in a box league against teams from Torquay Boys Grammer, Birkdale School and Warwickshire College. The team finished second in the league with two wins and a narrow defeat to the eventual overall winners.

24 Mini Red Players Compete in Super Saturday Event
On Saturday 2nd January 24 young players competed in the first of 100 events being staged at West Worthing in 2010.
The Mini Red Super Saturday Festival gave a full day of competition to 24 youngsters from across the south east. The club’s three indoor courts were converted into an arena with 10 mini red courts set out around a viewing area for parents making it a great place to play and watch. On a very cold day an amazing 144 matches were played, giving every player 12 matches.
Playing matches in round robin groups of four players throughout the day gave every player the chance to win a group. We ended up with 14 group winners picking up gold medals. 5 players winning silver medals and 5 players taking home bronze medals.

William Adams, Max Anderson, Nahum Banks, Thomas Beuttell-Triggs, Keean Devilliers, Oscar Fowler, Tiana Fox, Jacob Harding, Harry Hewing, Evelyn Kilsby, Lui Maxted, Milla Nasevski, Joseph Nicholson and Jamie Ruffle.
Silver Medallists
Elijah Akehurst, Gus James, Joshua Parsons, Abigail Reinselde and Sam Wheatley.
Bronze Medallists
Toby Bull, Gigi Casey, William Northeast, Adam Walker and Justin Worthy.
Overall Winner and Runner-up
With a clean sweep of 12 straight wins Oscar Fowler took the winner’s trophy with Thomas Beutell-Triggs runner-up with 11 wins from 12 matches.
