Squash members can play on six courts, one of which is glass backed with a viewing area for 100 people. This is often filled, especially when exhibition matches are played featuring top ranked players from the professional circuit.

Members, new and old, can contact Colin Conway, as Head of Squash Section, for information, suggestions and help in getting involved with events and fixtures.

Coaching

Coaching from our experienced professional Laura Wright is available on an individual basis as and when required.

Competition

We hold monthly box leagues for adults and juniors featuring 100 players of all abilities and ages.   Players are promoted and relegated each month so all players can enjoy squash against players of similar standard.

Played in a friendly atmosphere, our doubles leagues are extremely competitive.  The more advanced junior members are encouraged to join in and learn the art of doubles play against some of the more experienced members.

Our squash teams compete in the Sussex Squash League.  Junior teams for all age groups represent the club in various team events during the season.

Juniors

Junior teams compete in the Sussex league in all age groups normally playing in mixed teams of three.  All players are ranked in ability.  Junior players are encouraged to join the junior box leagues and the adult box leagues once they feel confident enough.

Junior coaching is available regularly throughout the week with our coach Laura Wright.
