Bar Opening Hours  

The club’s licensed bar is open at the following times providing a full range of drinks including draught London Pride, Fosters and Guinness all at keen club prices.

(*) On quiet weekdays members may need to ask at the office/reception for drinks to be served

Sports Drinks - The club has a vending machines for sports drinks in the lobby

Hot Drinks - The hot drinks machine in the club lounge takes a range of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cappuccino capsules that can be purchased from the reception or bar.

Festival 125 - Saturday 24th September 2011 KEEP THE DAY FREE!

The club are celebrating 125 years with a festival of activity and fun on Saturday 24th September.

Please put the date in your diary now and be ready to sign up for one of the many events that will take place on the day. All sections of the club are getting involved. here is the latest information:

Entertainment - The Alternatives will be playing at our celebrations - Playing rock favourites mostly from the 60's and 70's.

It is planned that they will play two sets one at around 3.00pm and the second at around 6.00pm

Disco in the Bar from 8.00pm - Dave Simmons will be organising this from 8.00pm till midnight in the bar lounge.

Catering - There will be a Beer tent, BBQ and catering during the day with Rosie providing a an evening curry for those that book!

125 Festival activities that require booking:

The following activities are being arranged and can be booked by members at a cost of £5.00 per person for all those 14 years and older:

Tennis - Wooden racket and fancy dress doubles tournament
Squash - Doubles tournament and under 18's singles tourament
Racketball - Singles tournament
Croquet - 6 hoop short game competition
Snooker - Tournament
Bridge - Tournament

Treasure Hunt for Children
Tombola & Raffle
