West Worthing Tennis & Squash Club was first opened in 1886
and was situated at Downview Road
just south of the main railway line through Worthing.
In those early days the club had five full-sized courts, which were used for
tennis and croquet. The clubhouse consisted of a pavilion, billiard room,
reading room and dressing rooms. A little time later a bowling green was added to the five tennis
courts.

at Titnore Lane, and now possesses 11 grass courts, 7 hard courts, 3 indoor courts for tennis
and 6 squash courts. There is also table tennis, billiards, snooker and bridge.
The club also has a bar lounge and function room.
